This last week was spent in Härnösand, where we now have worked our way though half of the Opera Pro-course. Singing lessons and coaching were had, snow was falling, tea was consumed and a concert with the brilliant colleagues was performed

Okay people, we did it. The Puccinis Operaskatter-concert happened and it went so well! ✨

I am beyond proud of my dearest colleagues who let me to do my directing debut with them in this project and offered me their patience, energy and trust.

Julia Andersson is a Swedish mezzosoprano working in Germany, Switzerland and Sweden. She is educated at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg, Stockholm University of the Arts and Schweizer Opernstudio in Biel and Bern.

The latest years she has been singing Glutz in Casanova in der Schweiz (P. Burkhard, Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn), Thibault in Don Carlos (G. Verdi, Bühnen Bern), Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte (W. A. Mozart, Skånska Operan) and Undulaten in Väntarna (L. J. Werle, Verkstan, Malmö Opera) as well as performing her own monodrama Quarantine Queen.
